Associate Content Manager, Sports

Location: Universal City, CA
Onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs
Pay:
Up to $38 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Manage content and copy in a variety of content management systems (CMSs) and related publishing tools
  • Write user facing copy for SLEs (Single Live Events) including but not limited to descriptions, titles, etc
  • Assign necessary metadata and imagery to all SLEs
  • Collaborate with the Creative Metadata team to ideate on image creation and athlete options for SLEs and sports experiences
  • Responsible for near 24/7 coverage depending on live events and priorities, ensuring operations and promotions have no issues and functioning as the first line of triage when incidents occur · Evaluate incidents to identify immediate solutions and work with the Impact team to escalate issues to the proper departments if necessary
  • Manually add and update all SLE imagery on platform
  • Manually update and optimize all SLE metadata on platform
  • Assist in coverage for the Platform Editorial team
  • Research and report on all sports streamed, functioning as the subject matter expert to help the team understand details when necessary
  • Provide and document detailed reports to management

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience working in title operations or publishing at a large-scale editorial, e-commerce, or video service
  • At least 2 year of experience writing, managing, and optimizing metadata
  • Previous experience working on live streamed events and live streaming operations
  • Intimate knowledge of Big 10 sports and/or Olympics preferred
  • Demonstrable ability to manage an ever-changing content pipeline 7 days a week
  • Exhibit excellent organization and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate workflows and concepts for a variety of audiences
  • A history of establishing KPIs and targets, and then working to hit those goals.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities to adjust processes for efficiencies, helping to develop strategies and procedures for continual improvement of editorial operation.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • A passion for sports, news, television and movies.
  • Ability to work a flexed schedule including weekends, late nights, holidays and whenever sports happen around the world
