Epicor BisTrack Data Analyst
About the Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturing company in their industry, With a commitment to innovation and operational excellence, they are looking to hire an Epicor BisTrack Data Analyst to optimize their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and help drive efficiency across their business functions.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Epicor BisTrack Data Analyst to support the implementation, management, and optimization of the Epicor BisTrack ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Epicor BisTrack, along with expertise in lumber industry operations, to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement across the organization. This role will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance the system’s capabilities, address business requirements, and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze data within the Epicor BisTrack ERP system to generate meaningful insights for business operations.
Create, customize, and maintain reports and dashboards to support key business decisions.
Use data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in areas like inventory management, sales, and finance.
ERP System Optimization:
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity within Epicor BisTrack.
Collaborate with departments to improve data collection processes and reporting accuracy.
Recommend and implement changes to optimize data flow and system functionality in BisTrack.
Customization and Configuration:
Develop custom queries and reports using SQL and other reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
Assist in configuring BisTrack modules to meet the specific needs of various business units.
Perform regular audits and data quality checks to ensure system accuracy.
Data Integration and Management:
Ensure seamless data integration between Epicor BisTrack and other business systems.
Work with IT teams to maintain the integrity and security of data across the organization.
Assist with data migrations, system upgrades, and new module implementations.
Support and Training:
Provide technical support for users on data-related issues within the BisTrack system.
Train end-users on how to access and utilize reports, dashboards, and data tools within Epicor BisTrack.
Create and maintain documentation for data processes, reports, and configurations.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure data-driven solutions align with company objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience (5+ years) working with Epicor BisTrack in a lumber environment.
Experience in ERP implementation, system optimization, and troubleshooting within the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and inventory management.
Custom Reporting – SSRS and Crystal Reports
Phocus and Power BI are nice haves
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of Epicor BisTrack modules and features, including manufacturing, production, inventory, and financial modules.
Proficient in data migration, system integrations, and report generation.
Ability to troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and resolve problems efficiently.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications in Epicor BisTrack or ERP systems (preferred).
