Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Manager to lead the implementation of Epicor Kinetic ERP within their manufacturing facility. This individual will serve as the internal project lead, working closely with cross-functional teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of Epicor Kinetic. Emphasis will be placed on data management, system optimization, and continuous process improvement to streamline business operations across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Epicor Kinetic Implementation Leadership:
Act as the primary internal point of contact and subject matter expert for all aspects of the Epicor Kinetic implementation project.
Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and internal teams to oversee the full implementation lifecycle, from project planning to go-live and post-launch support.
Ensure the system is configured, tested, and deployed in alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
Establish project timelines, manage milestones, and ensure on-time delivery of implementation phases.
Data Management & Integration:
Lead the data migration process, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data from legacy systems to Epicor Kinetic.
Define data management strategies, including data cleansing, validation, and reporting protocols.
Work with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of Epicor Kinetic with other systems (e.g., CRM, HR, financials, and production tools).
Oversee data integrity, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data post-migration.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
Analyze existing business processes and workflows within the manufacturing facility and recommend improvements through the use of Epicor Kinetic capabilities.
Work with department heads to define and streamline business processes across departments, including manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, and finance.
Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through system optimization.
Facilitate training sessions to ensure proper use of Epicor Kinetic and promote user adoption across teams.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, department managers, and end users to ensure project objectives align with business goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed throughout the implementation.
Prepare and deliver regular project updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and resolutions.
Post-Implementation Support:
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-launch, ensuring smooth operations and issue resolution.
Coordinate user feedback and make recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as part of a continuous improvement plan.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business systems management or ERP implementation, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Epicor Kinetic ERP system implementation and management.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, inventory control, and financial systems.
Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, and project management software.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities, with a focus on optimizing business processes and improving operational efficiency.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams and present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications: Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) or Epicor-related certifications are a plus.
