Job Description


Planet Technology is looking for a hybrid (3 days on-site) Project Manager to join one of our well-known pharmaceutical companies. 

The Project Manager will be partnering with the global team along with IT colleagues on a current design and implementation consent and preference management (CPM) project. 

Pay Rate: Up to $58-$62/hr depending on experience

Project Manager Responsibilities: 
  1. Project Management:
    • Experience with various product management methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, and Hybrid.
    • Define and document project scope, objectives, and desired outcomes.
    • Prepare an estimated timeline based on the project scope.
    • Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
  2. Team Management:
    • Managing cross matrix teams for the execution of projects.
    • Evaluate project performance.
  3. Day-to-Day Operations:
    • Oversee day-to-day project activities.
    • Communicate both internally and externally.
    • Assess risks and involve the stakeholders early if any roadblocks.
  4. Project Closure:
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Facilitate project closure.
    • Review, assess current inventory of standard procedure documents and drive updates.

Project Manager Requirements:
  • Pharmaceutical experience:
    1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical business processes in IT and data governance required.
    2. Project management lead in pharmaceutical industry
  • Strategic initiatives:
    1. Ability to work autonomously and seek advice when necessary.
    2. Experience in managing cross-functional projects and proficiency in influencing without authority.
    3. Capability of managing multiple workstreams in high-pressure settings.
    4. Manage and guide teams toward project goals.
  • Communication:
    1. Ability to effectively communicate with higher levels of management.
    2. Strong communication skills for conveying clear messages to different teams.
  • Negotiation: Navigate conflicts, reach agreements, and find a win-win solution.
  • Risk Management: Monitor the project timelines and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
