Job Description
Digital Communications Planner
The Digital Communications Planning role will serve as the liaison between a digital agile production team focused on digital operational execution and the distribution channels outside of the cross-functional team (UKNOW, internal comms, resorts, trade, UPRV, social, PR). They are responsible for collaborating with these channels to create and assist in executing communication plans and delivering the right message across all touchpoints to deliver a seamless experience. They have a close partnership with Segment Brand Management, Integrated Media, Public Relations, Trade and Universal Parks & Resorts internal creative agency. Their deep understanding of digital channel capabilities (web/app, CRM, social, media) will serve in the development of integrated marketing campaigns that connects the brand and products to the consumer. With consultation from cross-functional digital teams, Digital Comms Planning champions the customer journey across channels to achieve business goals.
Location: Hybrid Role onsite in Los Angeles, CA (Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite and M/F work from home)
Pay Rate: Up to $35/hr depending on location

Responsibilities:
- Liaison to all channels outside of digital agile production team
- Ensure same assets, messaging, and timing with partners
- ?Partners include: UKNOW, internal comms, resorts, trade, UPRV, social, CRM, PR
- Create channel action plan using existing Templates & Playbooks, verifies activation with all partners (depending on request)
- Be accountable for the journey experience and execution of communication plans across channels, including reviews and retrospectives as needed to assure cross-channel integration.
- Partner with Digital Production Operations & IT
- Hosts and manages launch executions
- Connection point with Digital Production Operations team to align on updates and execution for eCommerce.
- Coordinate with IT/DigiCon partners for site updates, when necessary
- Identify and execute tactical journey templates & playbooks
- Participate in Introspectives to provide input and feedback on the performance of existing Templates & Playbooks
- Partner with Digital Consumer Experience Strategy to develop new Templates & Playbooks when new opportunities are identified.
- Partner with Marketing Product Owners & Scrum Masters for execution of journey templates & playbooks within execution team
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: Marketing, Business Administration, or Computer Science or related required.
- 5-8+ years’ prior hands-on experience in communications across paid, owned and earned channel planning.
- Experience working across various media types.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment;
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in person and via e-mail
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications and processes
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with internal departments towards issue resolution/?project release
