Job Description


Our client is looking to hire an Epic Willow Analyst  - Pharmacist Consultant to join their team for a 6-month fully remote contract. 

The Epic Willow Analyst Pharmacist supports, develops, and deploys enterprise application software essential for clinical, financial, and business operations within a healthcare system. This role evaluates vendor software to ensure alignment with clinical workflows, collaborates with business operations to define system requirements, and develops innovative solutions. The analyst follows project and change management methodologies and participates in an on-call rotation for system support, including upgrades and incident resolution.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy Sciences (ACPE-accredited)
  • Registered Pharmacist (RPh) with Arizona Board of Pharmacy License (within 6 months of hire)
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, IT, or consulting, with expertise in application deployment and workflow analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic Willow Certification
  • PharmD (ACPE-accredited)
  • 5+ years of healthcare IT or consulting experience
  • Certification/licensure related to the assigned application or clinical/revenue cycle systems
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve workflow and system issues related to pharmacy applications
  • Act as a consultant on pharmaceutical therapies and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and support for pharmacy-related projects and automation initiatives
  • Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy informatics students and mentor new pharmacy employees
  • Analyze medication-use processes, implement system improvements, and assess best practices
  • Design, test, and implement system changes while maintaining database integrity and standardization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to optimize system performance
  • Adhere to change management and project management processes, leading low to moderate complexity projects as needed
