Epicor Business Analyst – Kinetic Cloud
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Epicor Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Epicor Kinetic Cloud to join our team and support our manufacturing client's ERP system. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement business solutions within the Epicor Kinetic Cloud environment. You will work to streamline business processes, ensure optimal system utilization, and drive continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency across the client's manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis: Work closely with key stakeholders in manufacturing, finance, supply chain, and IT to understand business requirements, gather detailed functional specifications, and document processes to ensure that Epicor Kinetic Cloud is fully aligned with business needs.
System Configuration & Customization: Collaborate with internal teams to configure and customize Epicor Kinetic Cloud to meet specific operational needs, ensuring the system is set up to support efficient manufacturing workflows and accurate data flow.
Functional Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level functional support to end users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues related to Epicor Kinetic Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and system functionality, recommending and implementing solutions to improve operational performance and efficiency.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop custom reports and dashboards using Epicor’s reporting tools and other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS) to deliver key business insights and decision-making support for manufacturing and operations teams.
Training & Documentation: Create user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions for end users to ensure effective adoption of Epicor Kinetic Cloud across all relevant departments.
Project Management: Assist in the management and execution of Epicor Kinetic Cloud implementation, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure Epicor Kinetic Cloud is continuously optimized to support the organization's goals.
Change Management: Support the client in change management processes related to ERP system enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption during system upgrades or changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working with Epicor ERP, with at least 1-2 years focused on Epicor Kinetic Cloud.
Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes, including inventory management, production planning, and supply chain management, and how they integrate with ERP systems.
Hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic Cloud configuration, customizations, and report creation.
Proficiency in creating and running reports using Epicor reporting tools (e.g., BAQ, SSRS, Power BI) to drive actionable insights.
Experience in managing and supporting ERP system upgrades and implementations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Epicor Kinetic Cloud certification or training.
Experience with Epicor modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Financials, and Supply Chain.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL and database querying for data extraction and analysis.
