Epicor ERP Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Specialist to support our manufacturing client’s multi-site environment. In this role, you will provide critical technical and functional support for the implementation, customization, optimization, and maintenance of Epicor ERP systems across multiple locations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations, improving system performance, and driving efficiency improvements across the client’s manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Epicor ERP Support: Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for Epicor ERP across multiple sites, including troubleshooting issues, diagnosing system errors, and ensuring overall system performance.
System Optimization: Analyze business processes and workflows to optimize Epicor ERP functionality, ensuring alignment with manufacturing requirements and best practices.
Customization & Configuration: Work with cross-functional teams to customize and configure Epicor ERP to meet business needs, including supporting integrations with other systems and applications.
Implementation Support: Assist in the rollout and ongoing maintenance of Epicor ERP at new and existing sites, ensuring proper training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
Training & Documentation: Develop training materials and provide training to end users on Epicor ERP functions, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
System Upgrades & Patches: Coordinate and manage Epicor ERP upgrades, patches, and system enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
Data Management & Reporting: Support data migration, clean-up, and reporting processes in Epicor ERP, working with users to extract meaningful business insights.
Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and IT teams to ensure Epicor ERP is fully integrated and supports operational goals.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and recommend improvements to ERP workflows, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Epicor ERP, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and how they integrate with ERP systems (e.g., inventory management, production planning, procurement).
Demonstrated experience in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users.
Ability to train and support users at all skill levels.
Experience with multi-site environments, including understanding of the complexities of geographically dispersed operations.
Knowledge of SQL, database management, and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:
Epicor certification is a plus.
Experience with Epicor modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Financials, and Human Resources.
Experience in system integrations and data migration.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
