Job Description
Epicor ERP Administrator
Our client is seeking a skilled Epicor ERP Administrator to manage, support, and optimize their Epicor Kinetic ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Epicor Kinetic and experience in a manufacturing environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the ERP system runs smoothly, addressing user needs, and implementing enhancements to support their business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Administer and maintain the Epicor Kinetic ERP system, ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Perform regular system backups and data integrity checks.
Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving ERP-related issues and questions.
Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems, working with Epicor support when necessary.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Configuration & Customization:
Configure and customize Epicor Kinetic to meet the specific needs of our manufacturing processes.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) using Epicor’s tools.
Implement and test system upgrades, patches, and new features.
Process Improvement:
Analyze current ERP processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Collaborate with departments to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
Design and deliver training sessions for users to enhance their proficiency with the ERP system.
Project Management:
Lead and manage ERP-related projects, including system enhancements, integrations, and new module implementations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and user adoption.
Compliance & Security:
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive business data.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ERP Administrator, preferably with Epicor Kinetic in a manufacturing setting.
Strong understanding of Epicor Kinetic ERP system, including modules related to manufacturing, finance, and supply chain management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Epicor Kinetic configuration, customization, and reporting tools.
Experience with SQL and data management.
Familiarity with ERP system integration and data migration techniques.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
