Epicor ERP Administrator Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Administrator to support and manage the newly implemented Epicor Kinetic On-Prem ERP system for our manufacturing client. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of the Kinetic On-Prem system to ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Epicor ERP, along with an understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure the ERP system meets business needs and supports continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities:
System Administration: Manage and maintain the Epicor Kinetic On-Prem ERP system, including user management, security roles, permissions, and data integrity.
Configuration & Customization: Collaborate with internal teams to customize and configure the system to align with business processes and evolving needs.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems quickly and effectively.
System Performance & Optimization: Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to ensure smooth operations, high availability, and optimal performance of the Epicor Kinetic ERP.
System Upgrades & Patches: Manage the planning, testing, and implementation of software upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure the system is up-to-date and secure.
Integration Management: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Kinetic On-Prem with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, SCM, Finance, etc.).
Training & Documentation: Provide training and create user guides to empower employees to effectively utilize the Epicor system. Document processes, workflows, and configurations for future reference and compliance.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, finance, and other departments to align system functionality with business requirements, supporting the broader manufacturing process.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide recommendations for process optimizations, automating workflows, and leveraging advanced ERP features.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience administering Epicor ERP (preferably Kinetic On-Prem) in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production, inventory, supply chain, and finance modules in Epicor ERP.
Expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Epicor Kinetic On-Prem.
Experience with database management, SQL, and report generation in Epicor.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Epicor Kinetic On-Prem certification or other relevant Epicor certifications.
Experience with Epicor’s RESTful APIs, dashboards, and custom reports.
Familiarity with system performance monitoring tools.
Knowledge of cloud-based ERP systems, integration tools, and automation technologies
