Epicor ERP Analyst
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Analyst to support our manufacturing client's instance of Epicor Kinetic On-Prem. This individual will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining the ERP system to ensure it aligns with business processes in manufacturing, lean manufacturing, supply chain management, demand management, scheduling, and shop floor operations. This position will require hands-on experience with multi-site, multi-company environments, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support for the Epicor Kinetic On-Prem ERP system, ensuring that the system is properly configured to meet the needs of the manufacturing business.
Manage and resolve issues related to the ERP system, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to implement timely solutions.
Leverage lean manufacturing principles and best practices to drive process improvements and ensure that the ERP system supports these efforts.
Support supply chain management processes, including inventory control, procurement, and demand management, using Epicor Kinetic.
Facilitate scheduling and production planning within the system, ensuring that shop floor operations are optimized for efficiency.
Provide support for multi-site, multi-company configurations within Epicor Kinetic, ensuring smooth data integration and consistency across locations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify system requirements, enhancements, and opportunities for process improvements.
Train users on Epicor ERP best practices, new features, and processes, ensuring that teams are equipped with the knowledge to leverage the system effectively.
Assist in system upgrades and updates, testing new features, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Analyze and create detailed reports from the ERP system to support decision-making and business analysis.
Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure the successful implementation of new business processes or projects that involve Epicor Kinetic.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience working with Epicor ERP, specifically Epicor Kinetic On-Prem (previous experience with Kinetic or Epicor ERP in a manufacturing environment is a plus).
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, lean principles, supply chain management, demand management, and production scheduling.
Experience supporting multi-site, multi-company environments with Epicor Kinetic.
Demonstrated expertise in shop floor management and operations within an ERP system.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills and ability to create meaningful reports from ERP data.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Epicor Kinetic.
Proficiency in ERP configuration and customization, specifically for manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement strategies, and best practices in supply chain operations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Epicor certification or training related to Kinetic or similar ERP platforms.
Experience with additional modules such as Quality Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Production Management.
