Job Description
ERP/IT Manager Our client is a leading provider of high-quality furnishings, committed to providing exceptional products and services to their customers. As they strive for continuous improvement and innovation, they are seeking a talented ERP/IT Manager to lead and complete an upgrade from E9 to Kinetic for their organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of the ERP system to support their business objectives. Responsibilities:
ERP Upgrade Leadership:
Lead and manage the upgrade project from Epicor E9 to Kinetic, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
System Configuration and Customization:
Oversee the configuration and customization of the Kinetic ERP system to meet the specific needs of the furniture and home furnishings industry.
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to design and implement tailored solutions and enhancements.
Data Migration and Integration:
Manage data migration activities to ensure the accurate and seamless transfer of data from E9 to Kinetic.
Integrate the Kinetic ERP system with other business systems and applications as needed to optimize functionality and efficiency.
User Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure proficiency and maximize utilization of the Kinetic ERP system.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users to address system-related issues and enhance user experience.
System Optimization and Maintenance:
Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the Kinetic ERP system, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Implement best practices and procedures for system maintenance, security, and data integrity.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in ERP project management and implementation, preferably with Epicor E9 and Kinetic.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and processes, particularly in the furniture and home furnishings industry.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on delivering results.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Certification in Epicor ERP or relevant systems is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of successful ERP implementations and upgrades.
