ERP Specialist/Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated ERP Specialist/Analyst to support and enhance our manufacturing client's ERP system, Kinetic. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of ERP systems, with a strong focus on Kinetic (formerly known as Epicor), and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. As an ERP Specialist/Analyst, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving the Kinetic ERP system to ensure it meets business needs and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day support for the Kinetic ERP system, resolving issues, answering user queries, and troubleshooting problems related to modules such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Financials.
System Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize the system to meet operational needs, enhance efficiency, and increase overall productivity.
Customization & Configuration: Work closely with internal teams and Kinetic technical resources to configure and customize the system to align with specific business requirements.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate reports, analyze system data, and support decision-making by extracting valuable insights from the Kinetic system. Assist with integrating Kinetic data with other business systems, as needed.
User Training & Support: Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure smooth system adoption and utilization. Assist users with understanding system functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, operations, and production to ensure seamless ERP system integration and alignment with business processes.
Project Management Support: Participate in ERP upgrade projects, new module implementations, and system enhancements. Assist with testing and validation of new features and configurations.
System Maintenance & Upgrades: Coordinate system updates, patches, and version upgrades. Ensure timely execution of backup, maintenance schedules, and data integrity procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in ERP system support and analysis, with a focus on Kinetic (Epicor).
Experience in manufacturing environments, understanding production, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
Proven track record of supporting ERP systems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Kinetic (Epicor) ERP system, including modules such as Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Basic understanding of database management and SQL for reporting and troubleshooting.
Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Familiarity with report-building tools and business intelligence solutions (e.g., Power BI, Crystal Reports) is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
Certifications: Epicor Kinetic certification or related ERP certifications are a plus but not required.
