Epicor Project Manager
Company Overview: Our client is a dynamic and innovative Medical Devices company that is committed to embracing the latest technologies to enhance their operational efficiency. They are currently undergoing a significant transformation by migrating from Epicor 10 to Epicor Kinetic on the cloud. To lead and manage this critical project, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is well-versed in ERP migrations and cloud adoption.
This organization has 17 locations throughout the USA, with 14 of them currently on Epicor 10. In addition to migrating to Kinetic, other topical projects in the not-too-distant future include implementing Capital Expenditure module; Multi company and multi-currency projects; there are also many “clean-up” projects to perform.
Job Summary: The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the migration of the ERP system from Epicor 10 to Epicor Kinetic on the cloud. This individual will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the project, ensuring seamless execution, and delivering successful outcomes within the defined timelines and budget.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Execute the migration plan, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project goals are achieved.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and expectations.
Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Vendor Management:
Work closely with Epicor and other relevant vendors to ensure a smooth transition to Epicor Kinetic on the cloud.
Manage relationships with external partners, holding them accountable for deliverables.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively address issues to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
Resource Coordination:
Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to ensure adequate support for the migration.
Facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and system functionality.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and make continuous improvements.
Top 5 Skills Required
Five (5) years of proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in ERP migrations.
Familiarity with Epicor ERP systems, especially Epicor Kinetic.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies and migration strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Bachelors Degree in Business, IT or related field.
