Epicor System Administrator (Kinetic Cloud Environment)
Our client is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that empower businesses to thrive in today's competitive market. As part of their commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology, they are seeking a skilled Epicor System Administrator to manage their Kinetic Cloud environment.
We are looking for an experienced Epicor System Administrator to join the IT department and take ownership of managing the Kinetic Cloud environment. As the System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the Epicor ERP system hosted in the cloud. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain system integrity, optimize performance, and implement best practices.
Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and administer the Epicor Kinetic Cloud environment, including system configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
  2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  3. Perform regular backups, disaster recovery procedures, and security audits to safeguard data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations and enhancements.
  5. Coordinate with third-party vendors and consultants to resolve technical issues and implement system integrations.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  7. Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to cloud computing, ERP systems, and Epicor Kinetic.
  9. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization and efficiency.
  10. Participate in change management processes to assess the impact of system changes and coordinate deployment activities.
Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years’ experience as an Epicor Administrator (with 1-2 years with Kinetic preferably), Business Analyst, Consultant, or Integrator
  2. Metal fabrication, Manufacturing background
  3. Proficient with the following modules: Sales, Purchasing, Production, Field Service
  4. 75% technical, 25% functional
  5. SSRS reporting, Methods of Manufacturing, new products
  6. Willing to spend most of the first 90-days onsite in Indianapolis – then remote with minimal travel.
