Epicor Functional Consultant
We are seeking a seasoned Epicor Functional Consultant to join our client’s dynamic team and play a pivotal role in reengineering and optimizing business processes for their manufacturing operations. As an Epicor Functional Consultant, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, analyze current workflows, and leverage your expertise to implement best practices within the Epicor ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, deep knowledge of Epicor modules, and a proven track record of successfully improving operational efficiency. Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of current manufacturing processes and workflows within the organization.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and areas for improvement.
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including manufacturing teams, supply chain, and finance, to gather and document detailed business requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Epicor ERP configurations.
Epicor Implementation:
Configure and customize Epicor ERP modules to align with optimized business processes.
Collaborate with technical teams and developers to ensure successful implementation of Epicor solutions.
Training and Change Management:
Develop and deliver training programs to end-users on the updated business processes and new features within Epicor.
Provide change management support to ensure a smooth transition to the reengineered processes.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of Epicor configurations to ensure they meet business requirements and align with the reengineered processes.
Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during the testing phase.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of reengineered processes, Epicor configurations, and related training materials.
Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and enhancements.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify opportunities for ongoing improvement and optimization of business processes and Epicor ERP functionality.
Stay informed about industry best practices and advancements in Epicor technology.
Qualifications:
Epicor Expertise:
Extensive experience working with Epicor ERP, particularly in the context of manufacturing modules (e.g., Production Management, Supply Chain Management, MES).
Strong understanding of Epicor best practices and functionality.
Manufacturing Industry Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production planning, shop floor management, inventory control, and supply chain logistics.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend improvements.
Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management:
Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines.
