Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Epicor Kinetic Implementation Specialist to support our distribution client’s initiative in implementing Epicor Kinetic at their newly acquired manufacturing plant. As an Implementation Specialist, you will play a key role in overseeing the end-to-end implementation of Epicor Kinetic (formerly known as Epicor ERP) to streamline and enhance operational processes across the manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the new plant’s systems are integrated efficiently, effectively, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Epicor Kinetic System Implementation: Lead and manage the full implementation lifecycle of Epicor Kinetic at the new manufacturing site, ensuring the solution is tailored to meet the plant’s specific needs in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, and inventory management.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with the client’s project stakeholders and business users to understand and document functional and technical requirements. Translate these requirements into actionable configuration and customizations within the Kinetic system.
System Configuration & Testing: Configure Epicor Kinetic to support the client’s specific workflows and processes, including manufacturing, procurement, sales, inventory, and distribution. Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the system performs as expected in real-world scenarios.
Training & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver training sessions for key end-users on Epicor Kinetic functionalities, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to operate the system effectively. Develop user manuals and documentation to assist with ongoing system use.
Data Migration & Integration: Lead data migration efforts, ensuring that legacy data from previous systems is properly mapped, cleansed, and transferred into Epicor Kinetic. Work on system integrations with other third-party tools or software in use by the client.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving challenges that arise during the rollout of the system. Act as the go-to resource for resolving any Epicor-related issues, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes by leveraging the full capabilities of Epicor Kinetic. Provide ongoing recommendations to optimize the system based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in implementing Epicor Kinetic (Epicor ERP) in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Hands-on experience with various modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Order Management, Procurement, and Distribution within Epicor Kinetic.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
Skills:
Strong technical proficiency in Epicor Kinetic ERP system, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, distribution, and supply chain management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications:
Epicor Kinetic certification is a plus.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Other:
Willingness to travel to the manufacturing plant for on-site work during implementation (up to 50% travel, depending on location).
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
