LIMS Analyst – (Full-time) – Onsite/Hybrid – Quebec, Canada
Leading Medical Testing Laboratory seeks a LIMS Analyst for a full-time onsite or hybrid opportunity located near Montreal. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in LIMS, as an analyst and with lab workflows and process understanding, within a Contract Research Organization or Pharmaceutical. This opportunity requires prior experience in reviewing and creating SOPS, LIMS testing and implementation, and strong communication and documentation skills.  Opportunity affords the ideal person exposure to a new STARLIMS implementation, the potential for extensive growth within various directions throughout the organization, along with strong benefits and compensation within a global organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting business processes for lab application testing and deployment in collaboration with operations and users; particularly for a STARLIMS implementation.
  • Collaborating with users to execute user acceptance testing for various deliverables and in collaboration with IT
  • Collaborating with IT to design and prepare documentation based on internal procedures to include Change Control, Cutover Plans, Migrations and more.
  •  
  • Serving as LIMS and other laboratory application SME ensuring quality and efficiency as well as user understanding.
  • Writing, reviewing, and updating general SOPS for multi-site users to ensure harmonization of all processes.
  • Creating user guides and training users on systems development and validation.

Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of LIMS expertise; STARLIMS experience desired but not a requirement.
  • Expertise working within a GLP regulated environment or CRO (Contract Research Organization) within user support and training.
  • Prior experience in lab applications development, validation, testing and implementation.
  • Experience writing and editing SOPs within GLP or CRO environments.
  • Experience testing and implementing LIMS and other biotechnologies, in addition to a preference for CSV .
  • Strong communication and organization.
  • Bilingual in English and French is a plus but not required.
