LIMS LabWare Software Engineer – (Full-time) – Remote

Innovative Biotechnology Leader seeks LIMS LabWare Software Engineer for Full-time Remote opportunity. Ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ experience in LabWare LIMS as a technical SME performing LabWare v7 software development and configuration within a regulated environment (including cGMP 21 CFR Part 11). Individual should also have some exposure to LabWare ELN and ideally Northwest Analytics (NWA) (although not required).   • Serving as advanced LabWare developer and SME in support of the overall LabWare LIMS to include architectural design, software development, integration, data integrity and related applications.  
  • Assisting users in troubleshooting the LabWare system to ensure solutions and proper training are provided to include assessing user needs, cost, data integrity and required integrations.
  • Serving as author of all LabWare LIMS instrumentation and environmental systems involving application functional specifications, design and integration documents, configuration of parameters and workflows to define application behavior and programming to include LIMS Basic, SQL, Python and more.
  • Developing software unit testing for systems commissioning on LabWare and related systems.
  • Creating and reviewing SOPS and training materials to alter as required.
  • Ensuring maintenance and adherence to company quality and safety standards.
  • Ensuring current system best practices regarding ISPE GAMP, FDA GxP and other ISO standards.
  • Managing projects on a small scale as well as LabWare team activities.
  • Performing documentation, of business requirements and unit testing, workflows, instrument interfacing, statistical charting, IV, OV and BAT.

  • Work authorization within the US as either a US Citizen or Green Card Holder; located in the states.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or related areas
  • Master’s degree preferred but not required
  • 4+ years’ software application experience within LabWare, ELN worksheets, LIMS Basic, SQL and Python.
  • Ability to develop functionality for LIMS instrument integration and comprehend technical information related to biotech equipment and infrastructure.
  • Throughout understanding of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11 and other regulated environments in association with Bio/Pharma.
