LIMS LabWare Technical Delivery Manager – (Full-time) – Hybrid – IL
Global public health organization seeks a LIMS LabWare Technical Delivery Manager to lead laboratory systems planning, development, implementation, and maintenance. This opportunity requires prior experience in the connectivity of a variety of systems to include automation, interfacing and reporting applications and solutions. This person will have prior expertise and the ability to lead technology teams to meet internal and external customer needs, while improving quality and lab operations. This requires 5+ years of LabWare LIMS Development, as well as 3+ years team management. Individual will have a proven track record integrating LabWare with other systems and be comfortable presenting to leadership. This requires a minimum of 3 days onsite in Chicago, IL and the person hired, must be local or willing to relocate locally. Additionally, this requires US Citizenship or Green Card work authorization with location in the US. Please no third-party solicitation for this.

Requirements
  • Existing work authorization as US Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Located within the US.
  • 5+ years of LabWare LIMS Development, as well as 3+ years team management.
  • Prior expertise integrating LabWare with other systems.
  • Comfortable with presenting findings on behalf of the North American Lab Systems.
  • Expertise within LabWare Contract Module, JD Edwards ERP, Salesforce and Boomi, (not required but would make for a stronger candidate).
  • Prior Agile methodology to include building sprints and velocity.
  • 3 days onsite in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as LIMS Product Owner for all implemented North American laboratories and ancillary applications to include LabWare, LabVantage, and AWS application servers.
  • Managing IT team supporting lab and internal business processes and requirements.
  • Serving as solutions Architect for LIMS while liaising cross-functionally with IT teams in the design and development of sustainable solutions.
  • Interfacing with developers for work estimate determination, assignment/milestones tracking, developmental issues/risks, and representing team in project status meetings. Regular utilization of Agile methodology to build springs and velocity.
  • Managing data analysts and ETL developers related to North American lab interfaces and data lineage between systems through the utilization of Dell Boomi, AWS, Quicksight and other similar tools.
  • Supporting data initiatives regarding data analytics, visualization, business intelligence, reporting, EDI, and automation solutions for North American region with a focus on Laboratory Operations efficiency and reporting.
  • Leading discussions with Global IT teams on project initiatives related to LIMS data.
  • Conducting technical and business facing portfolio alignment reviews for projects and enhancement as required.
  • Managing LIMS environments to include patching, monitoring and other activities regarding maintenance of integrity and uptime requirements for organization.
  • Managing the analysis of service requests, system enhancements, and projects by designing solutions meeting corporate objectives, while coordinating elaboration of systems design to follow Agile Methodology.
  • Analyzing workflows through the partnership of key IT and business users, in the support of ongoing business requirements.
  • Working closely with project delivery teams (to include Application Support, Release Management and Delivery, Infrastructure and Cloud Partners) while ensuring successful code releases to business validated test environments and production.
  • Administering Corporate HR programs related to employee recruitment and retention, compensation, training and development, equal employment opportunity, performance appraisal, and employment record documentation for employees engaged in systems applications, LIMS implementations and other technical supported activities.
