Launch Events Producer Culver City, CA
Onsite 3 days
$75 - $84 per Hour

Planet Technology is seeking a producer for our well know media client. This role will work across their suite of services and support the product management teams in their role in announcing feature launches at Keynote events and/or in press briefings. In this role you will develop project plans for Keynote moments and press briefings and partner with many other cross functional teams. You will provide visibility to their studio through announcement activities and will liaise on behalf of the product management teams with the cross functional partner teams.

  • Facilitate as the main point of contact across Services for WWPM & Marcom event teams
  • Liaise with XF producers for visuals and assets needed for keynote and press briefing moments
  • Be the bridge and main point of contact between our Public Relations and Product teams
  • Drive reviews of scripts, scheduling dry-runs, table reads and rehearsals
  • Support press briefings, with the creation of assets, press materials, and leadership reviews and approvals
  • Provide updates and keep our P&D studio informed about our feature announce moments
  • Drive services briefings process for Product Management, including developing keynote templates, working with product management for narrative, structure and slide content production
  • Provide onsite technical support for day of event production
  • Generate event project retrospectives, highlighting improvement opportunities, enhancements and process improvements
  • Create Quips, Keynotes, Pages docs and Wrike schedules
  • Work with a spirit of collaboration, always prioritizing and encouraging open communication in a team spirit environment!
Key Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years as a producer or project manager in the tech, media or digital entertainment worlds specifically related to event experiences/initiatives and press briefings
  • Expertise in the physical production of a creative experience and/or press briefings
  • Experience in developing detailed project plans for events, clearly defining goals and timelines
  • Proven track record in generating go to market materials for announcements and press events
  • Deep knowledge and expertise of Keynote, Pages, Quip and project management tools
  • Experience with ‘daily run of the show’, including status reports, calendars, production timelines, checklists, invite lists etc.
  • Logistical, operational and technical onsite operations at the event location
  • Develops Keynotes, Pages documents and Quips for outbound communication and tracking
  • Excellent presentation, organization and communication skills
