Marketing Manager

In this role, you will be instrumental in managing, maximizing, and coordinating the activities with cross-company business units on our client's live-action films and franchises. Assignments will span from theatrical marketing efforts to IP initiatives that deliver across multiple businesses. The position will collaborate with divisions across the company and other business units to support theatrical and franchise marketing plans and maximize development of brand extensions.

Location: Hybrid style in Los Angeles, CA 
Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in ideating, managing and executing Symphony and franchise activations across the company which includes 20+ cable networks, 40+ digital platforms, Parks & Resorts
  • Organize cross-divisional requests for film/franchise marketing, assets, and sales materials
  • Produce and distribute marketing, sales, and reference materials for film titles including presentations, reels, and collateral used studio-wide for Promotions, Brand Development, Home Entertainment, and Global TV Distribution and Global Theatrical Marketing
  • Manage acquisition, cataloguing, and distribution of all sales materials/film assets, ensuring timely and secure distribution via approved channels with appropriate watermarks, asset memos, and NDAs
  • Support team on creation of Filmmaker and Executive Presentations, interface with necessary departments for content and execute creative development of slides as needed
  • Track and manage approval submissions from internal partners such as Theme Parks, Games, Digital Marketing, and Live Entertainment.
  • Represent and support team at offsite events when necessary
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience, including on-set production experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a content-focused entertainment organization, such as a film or television studio, television network, production company, or creative advertising agency.
  • Proven ability to create digital/multi-platform solutions and impactful brand narratives
  • Ability to balance production needs with Client expectations; acting as primary liaison between the two
  • Strong ability to anticipate and accommodate needs, requests and issues on the client, sales and production sides
