  • From the manager: “I am looking for an Oracle functional analyst/lead who is familiar with Plan to Manufacture and ASCP, or Procure to Pay processes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivery, support, security, management, cost, metrics, and continuous improvement of global Oracle Applications ERP.
  • Help communicate our vision and strategy for the Global Oracle R12 EBS Application.
  • Ensure robust governance and management system of controls for Oracle at Dana.
  • Ensure implementation methodology is adhered to and provide quality assurance over deliverables.
  • Lead application support best practices to implement, control, and coordinate an outsourced, global support team.  Provide support on a 24x7x365 basis for our application environments.  Focus on creating a single, global view of required support by application, ensure applications are available and reliable, ensure any approved enhancements are executed and delivered with quality, and develop a cost of ownership by application.
  • Advise and influence the business across various regions, IT leadership, peer service teams, and all other stakeholders on functional matters, projects, and strategic direction related to the global Oracle ERP applications operations environment, products and delivered services.
  • Provide guidance on architectural changes, application support models, and operational improvements to the global application portfolio, while reducing overall costs. 
  • Provide the KPIs and metrics for Oracle ERP sustainability model
  • As system changes are implemented, help ensure effective change management through the organization and drive alignment and sponsorship with key Company stakeholders
  • Manage the teams supporting day-to-day operation and control of all application software, processes, tools, and outsourced personnel within the application environment to agreed service levels and system performance metric targets.  Provide documentation for all application environments with their respective data flows.
  • Develop continual service improvement plans to ensure application services adequately support business needs.
  • Manage the processing, coordination, and timely response to service request tickets that are assigned to the application teams. 
  • Develop and execute a cost effective and substantial strategy for Application Decommissioning and Data Archiving / Retention Model
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a related discipline such as Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or Business.
  • Program Management experience with large, Oracle EBS/ASCP implementations and support
  • 10+ years of progressive IT Oracle Applications leadership position
  • Significant experience in managing an external outsourced application support environment a strong plus
  • Experience in resolving complex business, system, change management and program delivery challenges
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Project lifecycle delivery skills, project management support, methodology, documentation, testing, post-production support and knowledge transfer
  • Vendor management experience and skills and responsibility for success of multinational vendor teams. 
  • Use of ITIL like processes for change, incident, demand and problem management.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong Oracle functional acumen; with deep level expertise with either one of following tracks PTP, PTM including ASCP Oracle EBS R12 application
  • Experience in managing offshore functional and development activities from design through user acceptance
  • Strong process design skills; knows how to apply process analysis, design tools and techniques
  • People management skills; fosters good relationships with team members
  • Strong presentation skills; creates appropriate oral and written communications for a variety of audiences
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges.
  • Strong personal computer skills required

Experience: Preferred as the knowledge transfer will be quicker

Must Haves
Oracle Lead Analysis with either Plan to Manufacture, ASCP, or Procure to Pay processes experience
