Production Planner & Scheduler
Our client is a leading manufacturer known for their commitment to quality and innovation. They are dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of their operations. They  are seeking a skilled Production Planner & Scheduler to join their dynamic team and help them continue to achieve operational excellence.
Job Overview:
As a Production Planner & Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of their products. You will utilize Kinetic, an advanced manufacturing ERP software, to develop, implement, and monitor production schedules that align with customer demands and production capabilities. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production flows and optimizing resources to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. Utilize Kinetic to analyze production data and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure that materials, equipment, and personnel are available and properly allocated to meet production schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Work closely with the inventory management team to prevent shortages or excess inventory and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential production issues or delays proactively. Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure continuous production flow.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure production processes are efficient and meet quality standards.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze production reports to track performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate production processes and scheduling methods to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Kinetic or similar manufacturing software systems is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments and levels of the organization.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
