Position Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Enterprise Initiatives, this position functions as a change manager and plays a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee and stakeholder adoption and usage. This position focuses on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job responsibilities and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee and stakeholder adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees and stakeholders. In addition, the change manager will assist the Learning & Development Officer in identifying new competencies needed within the business units to ensure future success. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes. This position is also responsible for developing communication plans to help communicate change initiatives and stakeholder impact.
This position is responsible for working through many others in the organization to succeed. The change manager will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The change manager may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The change manager will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans. This position requires the incumbent to have strong analytical skills in order to determine an appropriate change management strategy and plan. This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing what is changing, who and how stakeholders will be impacted, and what resources will be needed in order to transition to the future state.

- Experience is related to large and complex projects (change initiatives) that involves users from many areas across the organization and will impact both internal and external stakeholders. Examples may include:

Pay Rate Range: $45-$62/hr
