Job Description
Prophet 21 Contractor Overview: We are seeking a skilled Prophet 21 Contractor to support our client’s ERP system and associated bolt-ons, including CRM, Sales Automation, E-commerce, Shipping, and Inventory Management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Prophet 21 in a distribution environment and a strong understanding of how to optimize and integrate additional applications. Key Responsibilities:
ERP Support: Provide comprehensive technical and functional support for Prophet 21, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Integration Management: Oversee the integration and configuration of bolt-on applications, including CRM, Sales Automation, E-commerce, Shipping, and Inventory tools.
System Optimization: Evaluate and enhance workflows within Prophet 21 and associated applications to maximize operational efficiency and user experience.
Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for end-users, ensuring effective utilization of all integrated systems.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and IT, to align ERP and bolt-on solutions with business objectives.
Data Management & Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into sales performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiencies.
Project Support: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery of enhancements and integrations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Prophet 21 ERP, specifically in a distribution or related environment.
Familiarity with bolt-on applications, such as CRM, Sales Automation, E-commerce platforms, and Inventory Management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and support.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of distribution processes and best practices is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications in ERP systems or related software are a plus.
