Job Description

Senior Accountant
Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to their customers. As they embark on the implementation of Kinetic, the next-generation ERP system, they are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in this transformative project. This individual will leverage their accounting expertise to ensure a seamless integration of Kinetic into their financial processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
  1. ERP Implementation Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the implementation of Kinetic, focusing on financial modules and processes.
    • Work closely with ERP consultants and internal stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  1. Financial Process Analysis:
    • Evaluate existing financial processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Recommend and implement changes to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
  1. Data Migration and Conversion:
    • Assist in the migration and conversion of financial data from legacy systems to Kinetic, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Develop and execute data validation processes to verify the integrity of migrated data.
  1. System Testing and Validation:
    • Participate in system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
    • Verify the functionality and accuracy of financial modules within Kinetic and address any issues or discrepancies identified during testing.
  1. User Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to finance team members on the use of Kinetic financial modules and related processes.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for end-user inquiries and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in ERP implementation projects, with specific expertise in financial modules.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a focus on ERP implementation projects.
