Job Description
Senior UX Writer for Business Products
Location: Culver City, CA
Onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs
Pay: Up to $87.25 per hour DOE

This role is part of the Human Interface Design team for Services, which includes media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps. We’re searching for a UX Writer to design new and better experiences across our services through the lens of language. Specifically, you’ll contribute to the development and delivery of products for businesses, including Business Connect, which gives companies of any size the power to control their presence on Maps and other products, and Business Essentials, which gives small businesses easy-to-use tools for managing products and services.

The Writing arm of our Human Interface Design team works across services and products, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. As a UX Writer embedded within the Business team, you’ll be responsible for many things, including:
- Articulating the value and implications of business features for users, including aspects of system administration, marketing, and aesthetics.
- Making managing a business with products successful for users with a diverse set of skills
- Working on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education.
- Contributing to and implementing style guides and shared nomenclature across services
- Converging customer goals, business requirements, and brand values
- Boiling down complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy
- Collaborating with designers to uncover and solve UI challenges
- Addressing feedback and improving the performance of our content
- Working closely with QA, Legal, Privacy, and Localization teams to ensure content appears properly and accurately for every audience
- Working with cross-functional partners and senior leadership to understand the boundaries of what’s possible, and pushing from there
