Sr. Digital Project Manager
Location: 100 % Remote Pay: up to $62.25 per hour DOE Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision and more
Job Overview:
The Sr. Digital Project Manager’s main objective is to ensure that all digital projects flow efficiently and effectively to strategy and production departments. They are responsible for keeping everyone on task and projects on deadline, handling logistics, removing blockers, and keeping all parties updated on the progress; including creating and pulling reports. Their end goal? To deliver successful projects that meet all stakeholder and business priorities. The Sr. Digital Project Manager juggle a wide variety of requests from stakeholders with competing deadlines and limited resources. Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential to make sure everything runs smoothly, and the Sr. Digital Project Manager need to be as organized as possible to schedule, monitor and adjust deadlines and resources as needed. This position also requires significant collaboration, and the Sr. Digital Project Manager should have excellent people management skills. They need to know how to effectively communicate requests and assignments from stakeholders to their team, which includes getting SMEs to meet deadlines and following up when they don’t, pushing back when stakeholders make unrealistic requests and making sure everyone is satisfied with the project. Additional skills required include time-management, an eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Excel and Workfront is also important. Looking for professionals with knowledge of developer and design resources and previous digital project management experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand the goals and objectives of complex digital initiatives and how they will impact the business to inform program planning, prioritization and decision-making
Lead cross-functional teams, develop resource planning, and provide strategic insight that informs on a project from planning to execution
Coordinates and manages meeting to provide ongoing status updates, risk assessment and change management
Create detailed schedules and set deadlines for various stages of a project while negotiating completing priorities across project portfolio
Distribute assignments to digital teams and other departments, depending on their availability and priorities
Meet with stakeholders to intake new project details and manage communication throughout the project, including executive updates, collaboration and crucial conversations
Monitor projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly
Maintain job files
Work with freelancers and contractors and ensure they have the resources needed for their jobs and adhere to internal processes and standards
Job Requirements:
5+ years project management experience in a web/digital team (agency or in-house) with demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and execution
Strong project management skills, priority-setting capability, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
Strong working knowledge and experience in Adobe Workfront
Understanding of digital processes, technologies and tools
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence people, process and technology in a manner that enriches the company’s culture and overall team performance
Must be a team player and actively engage stakeholders at all levels
Must be customer focused, both internal and external to the company
Superb organizational and project management skills
Nice to Haves:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PMP or equivalent
Broad knowledge of all areas within digital marketing (web & eCommerce)
Adobe Workfront experience or equivalent
