Sr. Laboratory IT Systems Analyst – (Perm) – MA – Hybrid (3 days)
Pharmaceutical manufacturer seeks a Sr. Laboratory IT Systems Analyst with a minimum of 4+ years in Systems to include LabVantage LIMS v8, NuGenesis (or similar LMS), and Empower (or similar CDS). Additionally, this person should have extensive Life Sciences or specifically Pharmaceutical background within QC Lab Systems Computer Systems Validation, GxP, Validated Change Controls and Product Life Cycle Management. This also requires prior experience performing complex SQL queries. Opportunity offers competitive base compensation, full benefits to include 401K with a match and Employee Stock Options. Relocation is an option for candidates who are interested in moving to the Boston area. Must have US Citizenship or Green Card Work Authorization, and no third-party agencies.

Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree in IT or Computer Science
  • US Citizen or Green Card Work Authorization only; must be located in the US.
  • 4+ years systems experience with prior utilization of LabVantage LIMS, Chromatography and LMSs, ideally Empower and NuGenesis but will consider similar systems.
  • Hands-on SQL expertise performing complex queries, and data flows.
  • A history working within Life Sciences or specifically Pharmaceutical, in the gathering of business requirements, authoring these, designing and authoring workflows.
  • Performing and maintaining Lab Systems administration and authoring SOPs.
  • Possessing a strong understanding of Lab IT Technologies as they relate to operations, and to include LIMS, CDS and others and within a GxP regulated environment.
  • Ideally local to Boston or immediate surrounding areas, with the ability to go onsite 3 days a week, or ability to relocate to the immediate area.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team dynamic, while liaising cross-functionally as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Serving in support of daily lab operational systems and new lab technology to include systems selection and introduction, design and development, deployment, maintenance, and upgrades, and in support of QC and R&D Laboratory Infrastructure, Applications, and Lab IT System Compliance and Validation.
  • With a strong understanding of Lab IT Technologies, writing and maintaining IT System Administration and SOPs, and performing complex SQL queries as needed.
  • Developing and maintaining technology data analytics and dashboards.
  • Gathering, developing, clarifying and documenting functional user business requirements; while transforming user requirements into functional requirements.
  • Working regularly with LabVantage LIMS, Empower and NuGenesis on various projects and systems optimization.
  • Collaborating with technology system owners and business owners as well as Project Managers on issues, requirements, concerns and scheduling of deliverables to include completion of estimated timeline and budget, execution and delivery.
  • Working regularly within GxP validated environment in support of execution of validated requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
