Job Description
UX Designer III
Location: 100% Remote - must be local to Redmond or Seattle, WA
Pay Rate: Up to $75/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and other designers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation
- Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity including high-level wireframes, conceptual designs, design presentations and detailed specifications
- Collaborate closely with one or more local or remote Agile Scrum teams, working iteratively to deliver customer value
- Use customer insights that come from analytics and customer interactions to help inform business and design decisions
- Help to facilitate and participate in user research like interviews and usability testing to validate designs and make iterative improvements
- Contribute to efforts to create scalable experience design standards and improve design processes
- Participate in and lead design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges
Required Qualifications
- Advanced skills in all of the following: user centered design methodologies; creating mock-ups and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity; UI design, including current industry best-practice in UI standards, and accessibility requirements, for web and mobile.
- A portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence.
- Demonstrable experience utilizing a variety of human-centered design methods and best practices
- Ability to drive results in a collaborative environment.
- Strong presentation skills to share your work with credibility, clarity, and confidence.
- Experience translating qualitative and quantitative data into design decisions.
- Practical understanding (including capabilities, patterns and limitations) of current technologies used to build rich experiences in responsive web and native mobile large enterprise apps.
- Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Desired Qualifications
- MA / MS degree UX/UI design, UCD, HCI, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product design or user experience design, preferably in gaming, research, or e-commerce adjacent industries.
- Experience defining product strategy and vision
- Ability to balance great design solutions with an iterative, agile approach.
- Experience supporting a complex ecosystem with multiple products
- Comfortable working on a distributed team and collaborating remotely
